P2P (Peer-to-Peer) trading is also known as C2C (customer-to-customer) trading in some regions. In P2P trade, the user directly deals with his/her counterparty, exchanging the fiat asset offline and confirming the transaction online. Once the offline fiat asset exchange is confirmed by both parties, the digital asset is released to the buyer.

A P2P platform facilitates trade by providing a platform for buyers and sellers to broadcast their offers. At the same time, the escrow services of online digital assets ensure the safety and timely delivery of digital assets during trade execution.

FGS needs to verify your identity to keep both your account and the platform safe. Here is what you can expect for each level of verification.


Level 1: Basic Verification

Log-in to your FGS account and click User then Verification.

Please choose the type of ID and the country your documents were issued. Most users can choose to verify with a passport, driver's license, and other ID cards. Please ensure that your country of residence is consistent with your ID documents.

Also, ensure that all the information entered is consistent with your ID documents. Follow the instructions shown on the verification page. After completing the process, please wait patiently.

FGS will review your data and you will get the result within 3 working days.


Level 2: Advance Verification

Advance verification is a video verification so please ensure that you are in a well-lit area.

Please be sure to follow on-screen instructions to guarantee that your submission is accepted.

Please contact Customer Support to change the email address linked to your account.

Contact our customer support through the FGS email: support@fast-gateway.com. Describe your issue in the email and attach the document you used for verification. Once we review the data you provided, we will change your phone number. The customer support team may ask you to complete an extra video verification.

The security password is the password you need to provide when you create advertisements and withdraw or sell cryptos on FGS P2P. Please save it carefully.

In case you forgot your security password, click on your Profile Dashboard, then Account Security, under Security Settings, click reset beside the Security Password.

Note: After resetting your security password, withdrawals will be temporarily unavailable in the next 24 hours.

Two Factor Authentication (2FA) is an extra layer of protection used to ensure the security of online accounts beyond just a username and password.

Log in to your account, go to your Profile Dashboard, then Account Security, under 2-Factor Authentication (2FA) you can add either SMS 2FA or Google 2FA.

If you have your Google 2FA backup key, you can reset it in the app. If you don't have the backup key, you will need to contact our support team to downgrade your two-factor account. We will ask for information to verify ownership of the account, and we will request that you wait a minimum waiting period.

Look for the Customer Support logo at the bottom right part of the page on the Website and from there you can chat with CS or leave a message, or at the bottom of the mobile APP, find "Me" then find "Support".

If you have been suspended from trading, you will need to contact us through our email: support@fast-gateway.com.

P2P

A. Log in to your account and click on BUY on the top navigation bar on the screen and choose the fiat currency and the payment method of your choice.

B. Now choose among all the advertisements. Below are some information that may help you choose the best offer or advertisers.

  • Orders: numbers of orders processed by the advertiser.
  • Completion rate: Percentage of successfully processed orders
  • Limit: The minimum and maximum amount that you can purchase per trade.

After you have decided what offer works best for you, go ahead and click BUY. Please check the terms and conditions from the seller before placing an order. Confirm the order information: amount, price, quantity, and payment methods. Transfer the money to the seller's account and click on “Paid.”

NOTES:

  • Do not click “Paid” if you didn't transfer the money yet.
  • If you encounter any problems, please communicate with the seller via chat (on the right side.)
  • If you did not complete the payment and click “Paid” within the payment time limit, your order will be canceled automatically.
  • When the seller releases the cryptocurrency, you will see it at the top bar. The status of the order will change to “Completed”.
  • If you did not receive the cryptocurrency within 15 mins after clicking “Paid”, you can open an appeal to seek help. Our customer support will assist you with this order. You can open an appeal by clicking on “Appeal”. Please refer to the Appeal tab for further information.

A. Log-in to your account and click on SELL on the top navigation bar on the screen and choose the fiat currency and the payment method of your choice.

B. Now choose among all the advertisements. Below are some information that may help you choose the best offer or advertisers.

  • Limit: The minimum and maximum amount that you can purchase per trade.

After you have decided what offer works best for you, go ahead and click SELL. Enter the fiat amount or crypto quantity you want to sell (in your fiat currency) and click SELL. Confirm the order information: amount, price and quantity.

Communicate with the counterparty via chat (on the right side).

After the buyer confirms that he has sent the money to your account, the order status will be reflected as “Release coin to the buyer”.

Now you need to check your own bank account to verify that you have received the money. After verification, click on “Confirm release” and you will see a pop up. Click on “confirm release” on the pop up window again.

Note:

  • a. If you did not receive the money from the buyer, do not confirm the release of the order. You can open an appeal to seek help from our customer support team.
  • b. You have no right to cancel the order at this stage. If you place an order by mistake, please immediately reach out to the counterparty in the chat box before the transfer is completed.

After the release of the cryptocurrency, the status of the order will be reflected as “Completed”.

Please create and submit your P2P Merchant application to us, our team will review your application and contact you within 24 hours if you are qualified.

The payment window is usually pre-set by the merchants/advertisers. When posting ads, merchants can choose how long they would like to receive/make payment, ranging from 15 minutes - to 4 hours.

Log in to your account and click on either the BUY and SELL tab on the top navigation bar. Go to the P2P section and click Payment Settings and on the top right corner, you'll see the +Add payment methods. Choose your preferred payment channel, fill up the necessary payment information/upload your QR code. Input your password and click confirm.

We have various payment methods depending on your country/currrency.

No, for security reasons and KYC compliance, we only allow accounts with the same name as your Identity Verification. If there is a mistake in the verified name, you will have to contact customer support to correct it before you can add the payment methods correctly.

If you use another person's bank/payment account to pay the sellers, your P2P activities may face a 15-day sanction period. You might be permanently banned from P2P trading if you receive 3 warnings from the CS Team.

Absolutely. You can trade with any p2p merchant as long as you are able to successfully conduct your transfer in the fiat currency requested by the merchant.

Log in to your account and click on either the BUY and SELL tab on the top navigation bar. Go to the P2P section and click Ads Management you'll be able to see +Publish Sell Ads or +Publish Buy Ad.

First fill up the currency of your choice, the direction (buy or sell). In the price section choose from either a floating price or fixed price.

NOTE:

  • For floating price ads, the price will be adjusted according to the fiat's exchange rate changes. FGS takes the latest price from Huobi, Bittrex, Hitbtc, Bitfinex, Zb, Kraken and calculates the weighted average to get a market price.
  • For fixed price ads, the price will be fixed and will not change according to the exchange rate.

Fill up the remaining section: Trade Limit, Payment and Restrictions on the Other Party. Then click Confirm to Publish and your advertisement will be posted.

NOTE:

Quantity: The amount of USDT you wanna buy or sell. When an ad is posted, the amount of crypto for the ad is automatically reserved from the seller's Wallet.

Minimum Quota: The minimum amount you want to receive in an order.

Maximum Quota: The maximum order you want to receive in an order.

Yes. You can edit your ads to take them offline.

You can have a maximum of 2 active orders. (buy/sell)

Offers may be hidden often for the following reason:

  • You did not respond to a new trade within a reasonable timeframe, so your offer was automatically disabled to keep the marketplace healthy. When this happens, you will receive an email with more information.
  • Your account may be restricted. If this is the case, you will need to contact the customer support team.

If a user has not responded, you can close the trade. If you have opened a trade outside their standard operating hours, then you will need to be patient and wait for a response.

Log in to your account and click on either the BUY and SELL tab on the top navigation bar. Go to the P2P section and click My Order. From the navigation bar, you will be able to filter your orders per status, direction, date, and order ID.

Log in to your account and report it to our Customer Support team by clicking on the logo in the bottom right part of our website.

P2P Appeal Handling Rules

The following are the details of the appeal handling rules:

The buyer submits a complaint

  • If the seller intentionally refuses to release coins and requests that the transaction is not executed according to the advertised price: the customer support team will contact the buyer to provide relevant certificates. After verifying the situation, the customer support will force the release of coins to the buyer.
  • If the buyer remarks sensitive words (digital currency/P2P/crypto, etc.) when transferring fiat, and the seller does not release coins: the customer support team will contact the seller to refund or release coins; the handling fee for refund is shoulder by the buyer.
  • If the seller does not release the coins in time: after the buyer completes the payment by using the real-time payment method, the customer support team will contact the seller to release coins. If the seller doesn't respond within a given timeframe, the customer support team will forcibly release coins; if the buyer used the non-instant payment method (such as cheque/international transfer) to make the payment and the seller cannot receive the payment in time, the customer support team will contact the seller to request the release of the coins within 2 working days. If the payment wasn't received within the prescribed time limit, the seller will need to contact the customer support team promptly. If the seller did not contact the customer support team, it will be considered as the payment was received. The customer support team will forcibly release coins.
  • If the buyer overpays, the customer support team will contact the seller for a full refund or partial refund of the overpayment.
  • If the seller fails to process or refuses to refund within the time limit, the platform will disable the P2P transaction function of the seller's account for 10 days.
  • If the confirm payment button is not clicked due to overtime after payment, or the order is canceled by mistake, the customer support team will contact the seller for a refund.
  • If the seller fails to process or refuses to refund within the time limit, the customer support team will disable the P2P transaction function of the seller's account for 10 days.

Users who use offensive language during the transaction process will be penalized by having the P2P transaction function disabled on their accounts for 10 days.

If there is fraud committed during the transaction (buyer submitted a fake transaction receipt, etc) the customer support team will suspend the user while we conduct an investigation. Once proven the customer support team will permanently disable the P2P transaction function of the fraudster, remove all advertisements, and dispose of their asset compensation.

The seller submits a complaint

  • If the buyer used the non-instant payment method to make the payment, the customer support team will contact the buyer to provide the payment voucher and reserve a 2-day time limit for payment. If the payment wasn't received within the prescribed time limit, the seller will need to contact the customer support team promptly. If the seller did not contact the customer support team, it will be considered as the payment was received. The customer support team will forcibly release coins.
  • If the buyer does not respond or provide proof of payment within the specified time limit, it will be deemed as non-payment and the customer support team will award money to the seller.
  • Insufficient payment is the responsibility of the buyer, and the handling fee for supplementary or refund shall be borne by the buyer.
  • If the buyer agrees to make the payment, the customer support team will release coins to the buyer after the payment is completed; if the buyer does not agree to the payment, the seller will do a refund. After the refund is completed, the customer support team will release coins to the seller.
  • Malicious duplicate cancellation refers to the intentional cancellation of an order by the same user for no reason.
  • The customer support team will contact the seller to provide the certificate and after verification, the P2P transaction function for the account that has been maliciously canceled twice in a row will be disabled for 3 days.

It is a violation of the platform transaction rules to use an account of a non-real name to pay. Therefore any buyer who uses their non-real name to pay or uses another person's bank/payment account to pay will face a 15-day sanction period.

Once a user has received 3 warnings and continues to violate the rules they will be permanently banned from P2P trading.

Transaction parties who use offensive language during the transaction process will be penalized by having the P2P transaction functions on their accounts disabled for 10 days.
